Our Vision Statement

Mission, Vision, and Values

OHSB is a Christ-centered organization that awards financial grants to selected Christian non-profit Birmingham-based ministries who serve those in need and proclaim the Gospel. Grants are awarded to non-profit organization(s) that will use the proceeds to expand an existing program or establish a new initiative.

Bringing Birmingham Women Together for Kingdom Purpose!
Doing More Together Than Alone

Purpose

To unify and mobilize talents and resources of Birmingham women to play a part in fulfilling the Great Commission, as we serve Birmingham-based ministries through financial grants.

Service

We support 501(c)(3) Christian Birmingham based ministries who serve those in need and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Statement of Faith

1.  Jesus Christ is the Son of God and we trust Him as our Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9

2.  We honor Jesus Christ by serving together, united by the Holy Spirit as members of one Body. 1 Corinthians 12:12-13

3.  We honor Jesus Christ as we invest in His kingdom the resources He has entrusted to us. Matthew 25:14-30

4.  The Bible is the ultimate authority for our decisions. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

5.  We seek and receive divine guidance through prayer and the Bible. James 1:5
