Grace House
Grant Recipients 2024
Through God’s provision and our partners’ generosity, on September 24, 2024, we awarded $182,000 to two amazing ministries that God is using to impact Birmingham!
Hearts In Hands
Hearts in Hands exists to share God’s grace and show God’s love by serving the poor around us, especially those without resources or other means of getting help.
Target Group: Homeowners who are in poverty, struggling with mobility challenges and/or have critical home safety issues and lack the resources for addressing those issues.
Target Group: Shelby and Jefferson County, Alabama.
Hearts in Hands was awarded $82,000 to provide material funding to serve our impoverished and /or elderly neighbors; building wheelchair ramps and other critical home repairs, so that they may live in a safer home environment, thereby showing the love of God through humility and service.

Grace House
Since 1992, Grace House has been providing stable, Christian homes for Alabama girls in foster care on our residential campus in Fairfield, Alabama. They provide life-changing, individualized care for each girl with an emphasis on spiritual development, trauma counseling, education, and developing job readiness and advanced independent living skills.
Target Group: All the girls who call Grace House home have been removed from family custody due to physical/ sexual abuse, abandonment/incarceration of a parent/ or neglect and inadequate provision of care and are placed at Grace House through our partnership with the Alabama Department of Human Resources.

Grace House Ministries was awarded $100,000 to improve living conditions by providing a “makeover” experience for 40 girls. This would include critical upgrades that are overdue for all five existing group homes.
